In 2015 Here Today Here Tomorrow hosted free drop-in workshops in our Dalston shop/studio to show how 'we make your clothes.' This event was in support of Fashion Revolution Day on 24 April which marked the two year anniversary of the collapse of Rana Plaza, a garment factory complex in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
In remembrance of the victims and to take a stand against how the fashion industry operates, Here Today Here Tomorrow asks you to get involved and join the worldwide movement to question more closely who makes our clothes and under what conditions. Anna-Maria and I were on hand to demonstrate natural dyeing and machine knitting throughout the day. It never gets tiring seeing people's delight and surprise in hands-on making and the use of plant dyes and simple garment making tools. Get involved. Ask Questions.
